 Tuition Fees, Scholarships, and Accommodation

Tuition Fees

At Italian public universities, tuition fees are calculated based on the official ISEE (family income) certificate.
This system applies to both EU and Non-EU students, meaning that fees are income-based.

Depending on family income:

  • Fees can be very low or even fully waived,
  • Or can reach approximately €500–€5,000 per year for higher-income families.

Scholarships – DSU (Diritto allo Studio Universitario)

The DSU regional scholarship is a public financial aid program that provides eligible students with financial grants, accommodation, and subsidized meals. It is available at all Italian public universities and is awarded by the regional authority where the university is located.
