About the Harvey Medicine and Surgery Course
The Harvey Medicine and Surgery Course, named after the British physician William Harvey—a pioneer in describing the circulatory system—was established in 2009 as the first medical degree program in Italy taught entirely in English.
The curriculum stands out for its integrated teaching method, successfully combining theoretical knowledge with early practical experience.
The Harvey Course fosters a multicultural academic environment. Over 40% of enrolled students come from outside Italy, representing a wide mix of European and non-European countries. This diversity allows students to develop a global professional network and the cross-cultural communication skills essential for a modern medical career.
